- She spent 12 years training as a gymnast competing on a national level for Sweden.
- She spent the next 12 years with Swedish television doing just about everything in front of and behind the camera.
- She began to visit Hawaii on a regular basis and in 2006 saw Bear Woznick doing tandem lifts on the beach.
- Because of her gymnastic background she was curious and the next day she asked him what it was he was doing.
- He told her "tandem surfing...do you want to try?" She literally jumped at the chance.
- They became close friends and in time fell in love and were married in march of 2008.
- Together they tandem surf, on a romantic rather then competitive level and promote tandem surfing throughout the world.
